REGISTERING SYSTEM FOR DIGITAL PRINTER FOR PRINTING A LARGE NUMBER OF IMAGES ON SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which images can be arranged on both faces of a sheet by registering them. SOLUTION: A printer arranges a plurality of images on a sheet by feeding the same sheet to a duplex path and returning it back to a marking section or by feeding the same sheet to any one of marking sections disposed continuously. An end position detector is disposed on the upstream side of the marking section and position of the sheet is detected so that an image is place accurately on the sheet. According to the system, images can be arranged on the both faces of a sheet by registering them.
