Apparatus and method for integrating sorting and analysing heterogeneous data sets

Apparatus and method for the extraction of a variety of remote data sets in order that the extracted data can be manipulated into a standard form so as to provide an indicator for the occurrence of adverse events. The input data may be in the form of electronic computer output from existing computer systems or from hardcopy returns. The extracted data is user dependent therefore the apparatus and method may be used within a variety of large organisations to provide a graded system of early warnings that may be employed to predict when and where an adverse event may occur. This apparatus and method will also highlight when and where such an event has occurred so allowing for action to be taken so preventing the occurrence of any further adverse incidents.
