The one-piece solid screws are made of hardened steel with a tensile strength of 1100N/sq mm. Preferred Features: Each screw has two or more flights with no dead spots causing extended dwell times and no projections or similar rapid profile changes. The screw profile ensures self-cleaning and screws have a closed, self-optimizing cooling system. Different compressions can be achieved using screws with 1,2 and 3 flights with a stepless transition between them. Conveying, mixing and kneading features are incorporated in the screw design.
