METHOD FOR SYNCHRONIZING TRANSMISSION NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for synchronizing a transmission network is provided to prevent a timing loop and perform a dynamic provision function by analyzing S1 bytes in a linear or a ring type transmission network. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of sonnet clocks are bidirectionally transmitted to neighboring nodes when a link trouble is generated from an arbitrary node. S1 bytes are analyzed by the neighboring nodes for receiving the sonnet clocks to decide a prior order. The neighboring nodes are exchanged with the nodes of good states after the prior order is decided by the neighboring nodes. The S1 bytes are corrected and a bidirectional transmission process for the S1 bytes is performed. The node having the link trouble receives the corrected S1 bytes and decides the prior order. A clock is switched by the decided result and the bidirectional transmission process for the S1 bytes is performed.
