摘要 PURPOSE: A transmission channel multiplexing apparatus in a W-CDMA communication system using HSDPA(High Speed Downlink Packet Access) and a method thereof are provided to minimize time for feeding back ACK or NACK information by performing a CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check) on reception data by code blocks when reception data are determined to be retransmitted by first performing a code block segmentation on a transmission channel to be transmitted to a terminal and then adding a CRC by code blocks. CONSTITUTION: When TrBks(Transport Blocks) come down from a MAC(Medium Access Channel) layer to a physical layer(501), they are connected as one TBS(Transport Block Set)(502). After the TBS is segmented to code blocks(503), a CRC is added to the code blocks(504). A channel coding is performed for a channel transmission(505) and a rate matching is performed(506). The rate-matched data block is segmented to a transmission frame unit that is transmitted in an actual physical channel(507) and secondly interleaved to prevent a burst error(508). The secondly-interleaved frame unit of data block is mapped with an actual physical channel(509) and transmitted through corresponding physical channels(510).
