PURPOSE: A disc cartridge is provided to receive a disc regardless of the standards by controlling a diameter of a disc securing area by rotation arms and grooves for fixing protrusions of the rotation arms. CONSTITUTION: A disc cartridge includes a disc case(210) for providing a disc securing space, and elements for controlling a valid diameter of the disc securing area. The valid diameter controlling elements are positioned in the periphery of the disc securing area by a predetermined angular interval. Each of the valid diameter controlling elements are to be a plurality of rotation arms(220) and a plurality of protrusion grooves(216a-216d) formed to a disc securing surface(212). The rotation arms are supported to the disc securing surface of the disc case and respectively formed of a supporting shaft(222) and a body(224) connected to the supporting shaft at an end and formed with a protrusion at the other end downwardly. The protrusion grooves receive and fix the protrusions of the rotation arms.
