PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for inducing sleeping are provided to optimally induce sleeping by outputting the oscillation and/or the ultrasonic of the frequency band range detected by the result of the repetitive study according to the physical state of the user while inputting the physical information of the user. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for inducing sleeping comprises an input part(10) provided with a timer switch(11), a power switch(12) and on switch(13) to input the options of the user; a checking part of sleeping state(14) to detect a state from the time the user begins to sleep to the time the user sleeps completely while checking the amount of a circulated blood; a microprocessor(15) to control behavior when user sleeps or gets up by the detected result; a memory(16) to store the detected result or options of the user and then output while controlled by the microprocessor(15); a timer(17) to output time information while controlled by the microprocessor(15); a current controller(18) to control current size output while controlled by the microprocessor(15); an oscillation motor(19) which is worked by the current supplied via the current controller(18) and generates an oscillation of 1.5 to 2.5 Hz; and a frequency generator(20) to generate a delta wave of 1.5 to 2.5 Hz delivered via the current controller(18) and output it through a speaker(21).
