METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CELLULOSE CRIMP FIBER BY USING MELT FRACTURE FORM

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a cellulose crimp fiber is characterized by using a melt fracture form without a special crimping process, and high shear rate to increase productivity and maximize energy efficiency. The cellulose crimp fiber has excellent flexibility and excellent crimp manifestation. CONSTITUTION: The cellulose crimp fiber is obtained by the steps of: preparing a cellulose spinning solution using 86-92wt.% of a N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide aqueous solution as a solvent; extruding the spinning solution into a spinning nozzle; melt-fracturing the flow of the cellulose extrusion to create crimp on the fiber and fixing it; and drying the fiber with steam of 120deg.C and hot blast of 150deg.C.
