A stackable storage device, which can be stacked in many different ways. A device, which is suitable for various storage requirements and the open side and bottom of which have a peripheral edge, part of which projects inwards 6, 7 and part of which protrudes outwards 8, 9, these parts forming a pattern, in which the parts correspond to one another, the devices being held together with the open sides against one another, the bottoms against one another or the bottom against an open side. By also providing two blank sides in one device of suitable shape with the same edge form the device can also be stacked in a lateral position. <IMAGE>
