PURPOSE:To arrange so that recording characteristic of high recording property and muffled noise may be obtained by enabling the tip of a piezo-electric element with a recording needle or a bar-shaped piezo-electric element to record. CONSTITUTION:A recording needle 10 such as tungsten wire is provided at the tip of a piezo-electric element 4. If voltage is applied to the piezo-electric element 4 and the tip of the recording needle 10 is caused to contact an ink layer 5 on an ink roll 6 by displacing the recording needle 10 downward, ink adheres to the tip of the recording needle. Next, if voltage of reversed polarity is applied to the piezo-electric element 4, the recording needle 10 is displaced upward to contact a recording paper 2 on a recording paper drum 3. Consequently, ink is transferred to the recording paper 2, thus carrying out ink recording on the recording paper 2. |
