PURPOSE:To attain to enhance the abrasion resistance, impact fatigue resistance and cutting property of the titled alloyed steel, by containing a predetermined ratio of C, Si, Mn, Cr, Mo, V, Nb, Ti and Fe. CONSTITUTION:Abrasion resistant alloyed steel contains, on a wt. basis, 0.38- 0.45% C, 1-2% Si, 0.4-1.2% Mn, 0.8-2% Cr, 0.1-0.5% Mo, 0.05-0.3% V and additionally contains 0.05-0.3% Nb and/or 0.05-0.3% Ti and comprises the remainder of Fe. This steel is excellent in abrasion resistance, impact fatique resistance and cutting property.
