PURPOSE: An air bag cover is provided to ensure the space for the expansion of the air bag at the opening of a preliminary weak line and produce an alternative opening to be against the external force. CONSTITUTION: An air bag cover includes at least one of a preliminary weak line(11a). The air bag is located in an instrument panel, handle hub, or door panel. The preliminary weak line(11a) is formed at the other side of the air bag cover to become an opening(11) at the expansion of the air bag. The air bag includes blind holes having a bottom on the preliminary line, and the alternative opening by forming grooves for connecting with the blind holes in a line. |
