PURPOSE: A method for processing Bluetooth data using data compression is provided to adopt a data compression function upon data transceiving between Bluetooth devices, so as to secure stable and fast data transmission performance. CONSTITUTION: A connection setup procedure of Bluetooth baseband, LMP(Link Manager Protocol) and L2CAP(Logical Link Control and Adaptation Protocol) is completed(301), and search of services is completed(302). Connection of RFCOMM(Radio Frequency Communication) is completed(303) and packets of transmission data are prepared(304). Whether to provide a compression function for the transmission data packets is decided(305). If so, the transmission data are compressed(306) and data are delivered to the RFCOMM(307) then transmitted through the L2CAP, LMP, baseband and air interface(308). And if the compression function is decided not to be provided in the step 305, transmission data are delivered to the RFCOMM intactly(307) and data are delivered through the L2CAP, LMP, baseband and air interface(308).
