PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make accurately and selectively writable an image to the tab part of a sheet by detecting the tab shape of tab paper. SOLUTION: In the apparatus, the tab paper is fed R and the passing timing of the tab is detected by a tab detecting sensor (a normal sheet detection sensor is possible) installed in a carrying path. The position of the tab from a leading tip of the sheet and how long the tab is are calculated by carrying out calculation of the relative time lag in detection timing of a sheet detecting sensor other than the tab detecting sensor. |
