<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at a low price a packet transferring apparatus having a high-speed NAT processing function. SOLUTION: In the packet transferring apparatus, a global-address assigning circuit 20a assigns a global address to a predetermined node of a second network 23, when transferring a packet from the predetermined node of a first network 21 to the predetermined node of the second network 23. An address managing circuit 20b at least so associates with each other the global address assigned by the global-address assigning circuit 20a, the global address possessed by the predetermined node of the first network 21, and a private address possessed by the predetermined node of the second network 23 as to manage them. An address converting circuit 20c so refers to the addresses managed by the address managing circuit 20b as to convert at need the global or private address added to the packet into the private or global address.</p> |
