摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoding method for a sound signal which can perform accurate harmonic removal and also carry out harmonic removal from only a human voice. SOLUTION: In encoding of the sound signal, an intensity value corresponding to each note number is calculated through frequency analysis and then harmonic distribution degree of each of the note numbers is calculated. The harmonic distribution degree of some note number is calculated by adding intensity values of sounds with note numbers +12 (2nd harmonic), +19 (3rd harmonic), +24 (4th harmonic), etc., and subtracting intensity values of sounds with -12 (2nd harmonic of the sound), -19 (3rd harmonic of the sound), -24 (4th harmonic of the sound), and then dividing the value obtained by the addition and subtraction by the intensity value of itself. A sound with a negative harmonic distribution degree is judged to be a harmonic and excluded from objects to be encoded.
