PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that is little in occurrence of a discharge pattern and transfer failure which result from a change in the temperature of an intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is characterized in that a thermister 42 is disposed in contact with the intermediate transfer belt 5, and the heater 41 of a fixing device 7 is controlled according to the detection result of the thermister 42, thereby adjusting the temperature of the intermediate transfer belt 5. |
