PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a solid electrolytic capacitor from being heated due to mounting in reverse porality and overcurrent in the capacitor having a capacitor element 1, an anode lead terminal 4 connected to an anode 1a side of the element, and a cathode lead terminal 6 to the cathode side of the element. SOLUTION: A bimetal 8 is fixed to the cathode lead terminal 6 in such a manner that the distal end of the bimetal is pressed against the anode film 1b of the capacitor element 1 to out off by the bimetal 8 when the capacitor is heated.
