PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optocoupler capable of performing coercive cooling, temperature detection and effective use of energy in an optocoupler package, and moreover being more simplified in thermal design than conventional ones and designed to improve safety and save energy through the temperature detection. SOLUTION: The optocoupler comprises a light-emitting unit 4 provided on an input side lead frame 3b, a light-receiving unit 5 arranged on an output side lead frame 3a, a load driving semiconductor unit 2 provided on the output side lead frame 3a to be connected to the light-receiving unit 5 therethrough, and a sealing resin 6 for protecting the light-emitting unit 4, the light-receiving unit 5 and the load driving semiconductor unit 2 as a package. A thermoelectric transducer 1 is built in the same package. |
