PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that can easily restore both a digital camera and a printer in a power-saving state to an ordinary mode. SOLUTION: Each of the digital camera 1 and the printer 2 is provided with an auto power save function, shift to a power saving mode when no operation is made by a user for a prescribed time but restore to the ordinary mode when the user makes any operation. When the digital camera 1 restores from the power saving mode to the ordinary mode, the digital camera transmits a WakeUP signal to the printer 2 (step S711). Upon the receipt of the WakeUp signal, the printer 2 restores to the ordinary mode. Further, even when the printer 2 restores to the ordinary mode, the printer 2 transmits the WakeUp signal to the digital camera 1, which restores to the ordinary mode. Thus, when either of the digital camera 1 and the printer 2 is restored to the ordinary mode, both the digital camera 1 and the printer 2 restore to the ordinary mode so that the user-friendliness can be enhanced. |
