PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a YBCO-based high-temperature superconductor film of high quality and its manufacturing method, and a superconducting element with excellent electric characteristics which uses the YBCO-based high- temperature superconductor film. SOLUTION: The Y-Ba-Cu-O based high-temperature superconductor film formed on a dielectric substrate 10 is characterized in that the composition ratio of Cu to Ba nearby on the top surface of the film is larger than the composition ratio of Cu to Ba in the film.
