PURPOSE:To increase operability and manifestation of strength of the curing accelerator by preparing a water-hardening accelerator from aluminum sulfate and an alkali metal sulfate. CONSTITUTION:The subject hardening accelerator which is hardened with water is composed of aluminum sulfate and an alkali metal sulfate. As an alkali metal sulfate, are used sodium sulfate or potassium sulfate. The former is preferred. In the accelerator, 30-300pts.wt. of an alkali metal sulfate is used per 100pts.wt. of aluminum sulfate. The accelerator is added to the water-hardening substance in an amount of 0.5-10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the substance. The composition containing the accelerator shows prolonged working life and manifests satisfactory strength in a short time. |
