<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To respond by machine voice or an operator according to the telephone number of an arrival signal call in telephone response by a sales person or the like of products and a user. SOLUTION: A plurality of pieces of user information, where a telephone number at a calling side and a service valid period are associated, are pre- registered in a database 3. When there is a telephone arrival signal from a user from a public line 1 via an exchange 2, a terminal apparatus 4 identifies the calling side telephone number from the telephone arrival signal by a telephone number identification section 4b, searches for the database 3 by a searching section 4c based on the identified telephone number, and determines whether the service period corresponding to the telephone number is within a valid period by a determining section 4d. When the determining is within the valid period, a telephone 4i is allowed to ring, so that an operator can cope with while, when it is determined that the service period is outside the valid period by determination (determination section 4d), a synthesized voice from a voice synthesis section 4f responds automatically to it.</p> |
