PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when words of all characters in a novel are read aloud in the same character voice, a user feels less reality. SOLUTION: A server means is equipped with a phoneme database, data of an object of speech synthesis (e.g. text data of a novel, etc.), a phoneme database selection processing part which analyzes data of the object of speech synthesis and selects the phoneme database, and a speech synthesis processing part and a terminal device comprising a synthesized sound data input means which inputs synthesized voice data after the speech synthesis and a voice output means outputting a synthesized voice is connected to the server means; and mutually different voice characters can be assigned to respective parts of the object of speech synthesis, so the different voice characters are assigned by words of the characters, so that the text can be read aloud more really. |
