PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel that can prevent cross talk. SOLUTION: A pair of electrodes, which are comprised of a scanning electrode 12 and a sustaining electrode 13 arranged with a discharge gap Xmg, are formed in plural sets on the substrate so that the scanning electrodes 12 and the sustaining electrodes 13 may be adjoined each other by providing an adjoining-cells gap Xipg between these pairs of electrodes. A plurality of slits are provided on the adjoining-cells gap Xipg side of the sustaining electrode 13 and the slits 14 provided at each of the sustaining electrodes 13 adjoining each other interposing the adjoining-cells gap Xipg are arranged mutually slided in the extending direction of the sustaining electrodes 13.
