PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve information regarding a target product and a dealer handling the target product and to even enable the guide of whereabouts of the dealer handling it without using information such as a name of the product. SOLUTION: Image data of an image of the target product photographed by using a camera function of a cellular telephone terminal 100 is transmitted to a server 300 via a communication network. The server 300 is provided with a product data base, a dealer data base and a map data base, analyzes the image of the image data from the cellular telephone terminal 100, calculates featured values information, retrieves product data in the product data base by using the featured values information as main retrieval key information, acquires detailed information of the target product and map information including the whereabouts of the dealer handling the product from the dealer data base and the map data base and provides them to the cellular telephone terminal 100.
