NEWSPAPER OFFSET ROTARY PRESS

A newspaper offset rotary press such that the reference position of a machine plate attached to a single plate cylinder with no space for incorporating a registering device, which has a complex structure, can be changed and moved by a simple mechanism, the press itself can be compact, and the space where the press is installed can be small. The press comprises a machine plate 1 that is attached to a slit groove 7a formed axially in a plate cylinder 7 having a one-page peripheral length and a four-page width and has cutouts 2 near the edges of the machine plate 1 and an adjusting rod 6 for adjusting registration that is disposed in the slit groove 7a axially movably and has at its ends engagement projections 6a for engagement with the cutouts 2 of the machine plate 1 in the reference position.
