Constructional paints for improving housing environment which can sustain various characteristics of improving the housing environment for example, the termite-controlling effect achieved by hinokitiol over a long time and a method of appropriately using the same. In these constructional paints, a resin for coating constructions is employed as the main component and a support, which carries a hinokitiol-containing liquid and can release the liquid, is added to the resin.
