The invention relates to a kind of solidified water used for plant cultivation. This kind of solidified water is formed by water, 3.1 - 4 % thickening agent by weight, 0.03 - 0.7 % stiffening agent by weight. Its production method includes the following steps: solving the soluble thickening agent in water contained in a container, forming a kind of stringy liquid, adding a predetermined quantity of stiffening agent into the said stringy liquid, solidifying the liquid. Then the solidified water product of the invention is formed. The solidified water is planted to prescribed depth from soil surface. It can provide long-lasting and stable water source for plant cultivation. By using the product of the invention, the problems for cultivating plant in arid area and desert zone can be solved.
