PURPOSE: An apparatus for calculating an inertial moment of an object is provided to reduce the number of analyzing and testing processes by easily calculating the inertial moment of the object. CONSTITUTION: An inertial moment calculating apparatus includes a weight(20) for measuring mass of an object, such as a chassis(10) of a vehicle. A wall member(30) is provided at an upper portion of the weight(20) in order to cover the chassis(10). A light emitting section(40) is installed at the wall member(30). The light emitting section(40) includes two lasers, which are installed at two sidewalls of the wall member(30) while forming a right angle with respect to each other. A light receiving section(50) including sensors is installed at remaining sidewalls of the wall member(30). A body(60) is connected to the weight(20) so as to display an inertial moment of the object by calculating the inertial moment of the object based on a predetermined equation.
