PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy and safe shield machine and its cutter bit replacement method operable quickly in the ground. SOLUTION: This shield machine 1 is provided with a cutter head 2 abutted to a cutting face and driven rotationally and a cutter spoke 17 arranged in the cutter head 2 and provided with a plurality of cutter bits. The cutter spoke 17 is formed into a hexagonal cylinder and can be turned around the axial center. In a hollow part 17a of the cutter spoke 17, spare cutter bits 12, 12, and etc. are arranged, while a movable part 18 movable along the radial direction of the cutter spoke 17 and a wedge part 15 pressing out the movable part 18 are arranged. |
