摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain excellent accuracy of a phase control over a long period of time, by restraining generation of looseness due to abrasion at a sliding part without complicating a structure of two rotating members which relatively rotate. SOLUTION: This cam phase variable device P1 for changing a phase of a cam 16 driven by a motive power of a crankshaft comprises: a lever 52 supported capable of rocking by a support shaft 51 arranged to a camshaft 15; and a drive device A which rocks the lever 52. The drive device A comprises: a transmission member 61 rotated and driven by an electric motor 71; and an operating member 62 moving in an axial direction together with the transmission member 61. The lever 52 comprises: a first operating arm having a pin 57 engaged to the operating member 62; and a second operating arm having a roller 58 engaged to a holding cylinder 33 rotated synchronously with the crankshaft. When the lever 52 which transmits the motive power of the crankshaft to the camshaft 15 via the holding cylinder 33 is rocked through the operating member 62, a relative rotation is generated between the camshaft 15 and the holding cylinder 33, thereby changing the phase of the cam 16 with respect to the crankshaft.</p>
