PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a substituted piperazinylmethyl aromatic acid derivative useful as a medicinal intermediate according to a safer and simpler method. SOLUTION: This method for producing a substituted piprazinylmethyl aromatic acid derivative comprises reacting a substituted piperazine in an amount of >=5 equivalents to an α-monosubstituted aromatic acid therewith when the α-monosubstituted aromatic acid is reacted with the substituted piperazine. Furthermore, the method for producing the substituted piperazinylmethyl aromatic acid derivative comprises using water as a reactional solvent when the α-monosubstituted aromatic acid is reacted with the substituted piperazine. |
