PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial tensile break testing machine capable of easily performing an axial tensile break test without requiring a special testing place. SOLUTION: The axial tensile break testing machine is provided in place of a conventional axial tensile break testing machine constituted so as to pull a shaft longitudinally to break the same. Further, the machine is equipped with a first flange for fixing one end of the shaft, a second flange for fixing the other end of the shaft, a hydraulic cylinder for allowing load to act on the first and second flanges to allow them to be spaced apart from each other longitudinally, the tie rod piercing through the first and second flanges, a pair of stoppers fixed to both ends of the tie rod, and a hanging beam for hanging the tie rod.
