PURPOSE: A mobile image and text information display system through a background image of a mobile terminal and a method therefor are provided to provide and display data such as various news, news articles, weather information, traffic information, home-shopping broadcast, an advertisement as a mobile image or a text form through an LCD screen of a mobile terminal according to user's selection. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal for transmission and reception of radio data is turned on(S200) in order to receive information data in a mobile image or a text form provided from a service provided through a radio network on a real time basis, and at the same time, updates and stores the received information data in a DB server(S210). The received information data of the mobile image and text is displayed on an LCD background screen of the mobile terminal on a real time basis(S220). If a user desires an entertainment information among the displayed information data and selects an icon or a channel on the corresponding information data(S230), information data of a mobile image or a text form on the selected icon or channel are received, updated and stored(S240). The received information data such as the mobile image or text are displayed on the background screen of the mobile terminal on a real time basis(S250). |
