PURPOSE: A method for setting position of metallic pattern is provided to arrange and fix the metallic pattern onto the surface of setting position of a machine such as milling machine accurately and easily by using a magnetized setting block. CONSTITUTION: The method for setting position of metallic pattern comprises the steps of lifting up the metallic pattern(10) using a crane; adhering four magnetized setting blocks(20) onto the bottom of each corner of the metallic pattern(10); moving the magnetized setting block(20) adhered metallic pattern(10) to the setting position surface of a processing machine; resting the metallic pattern(10) to the corner of which the setting blocks(20) are adhered on the setting position surface of the processing machine so that the metallic pattern(10) is accurately positioned on the setting position surface of the processing machine by closely adhering the outer surface of two setting blocks(20) out of the setting blocks(20) to a guiding plate(60) that is adhered onto the setting position surface of the processing machine in advance; and processing the metallic pattern(10) by clamping the metallic pattern(10) that is accurately arranged and fixed onto the processing machine, wherein a permanent magnet with an on/off switch(40) is installed inside the magnetized setting blocks(20) in advance.
