PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy movement of the axial position of an idle gear even if a gear case rotatably supporting the idle gear is commonly used in transmitting power from a drive gear to a driven gear through the idle gear. SOLUTION: In a device transmitting power from the drive gear 4 to the driven gear 9 through the idle gear 8, the idle gear 8 is rotatably supported by a baring 12 in respect to a cylindrical shaft part 11 of an idler shaft 10, cylindrical shaft part 15 projecting from the cylindrical shaft part 11 forward and backward is fitted into a circular recess part 16 of the gear case 6, a pin 18 of the cylindrical shaft part 15 is fitted into either of pin holes 19, 19 of the gear case 6, and the idler shaft 10 is fixed on cases 6, 7 with a bolt 21 and a nut 22.
