PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard roofing material mounting structure which is light in weight, good in weather resistance, and free from maintenance. SOLUTION: The hard roofing material A mounting structure is comprised of a hard roofing material A and a waterproofing-cum-fixing underlaid panel strip B. The hard roofing material A is formed of an almost square plate and has a plurality of hollow holes H formed therein and aligned from a lower side to an upper side of the hard roofing material A. The hard roofing material A is shaped such that its lower-side portion is bent upward and the bent tip is protruded toward the upper side. The underlaid panel strip B has an engaging piece 9 having a width that allows insertion thereof into the hollow hole H formed in the hard roofing material A, and the underlaid panel strip B is arranged on a rear surface 1a of a joint portion between the right and left hard roofing materials A.
