PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an adhesive polarizer with an excellent adhesive property of the adhesive layer to a protective film without any appearance defect of the protective film surface by a relatively simple device with excellent productivity. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the adhesive polarizer by laminating the adhesive layer to at least one surface of the protective film of the polarizer having the protective film on at least one surface of a polarizer, is characterized by using a triacetyl cellulose film as the protective film to which the adhesive layer is laminated and laminating the adhesive layer after making surface free energy of the protective film surface 50 mN/m or higher with plasma irradiation under atmospheric pressure.
