PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide excellent sound insulating performance as needs arise without deteriorating cooling performance while making the most of good points of a frame type engine generator which has less number of components, easily divides a low temperature side and a high temperature side to perform efficient cooling, and is small size, light weight and low cost by commonization of major components. SOLUTION: A front, a rear and an upper surface of a support frame 4 are blocked by an operation panel 25, a muffler cover 26, and a fuel tank 22. A left and a right surface of the support frame 4 can be blocked by a left and a right panel 27, 28, and a lower surface thereof can be blocked by a base plate 29. A dividing plate 8b dividing a low temperature generator 3 side and a high temperature engine 2 side is formed as one body with a fan cover 8 of a cooling fan 5 provided between the engine 2 and the generator 3. A seal rubber 34 sealing an opening between opposing parts can be provided on a circumference of left and right edge parts of the dividing plate 8b.
