PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary cantilever type opening-closing roof structure with easy opening and closing, a large opening ratio, and easy and inexpensive installation and disassembly. SOLUTION: The temporary cantilever type opening-closing roof structure is provided with a plurality of roof material supporting booms 2 with respective base end sides supported by a fixed structure part 1, suspending wires 51 suspending tip end sides of the roof material supporting booms 2, and a roof material 3 straddled on the roof material supporting booms 2 and supported by them. Each roof material supporting boom 2 can be folded by mutually pivotally attaching a plurality of links 21 and 22, and tip sides of each link are respectively suspended above the fixed structure part 1 via separate suspending wires 51 and 52. By operating each suspending wire 51 and 52 by wire operating devices 61 and 62, each roof material supporting boom 2 is folded or extended at the same time, and the roof material is folded or expanded.
