PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser printer which accurately transfers a toner image to a sheet-shaped medium. SOLUTION: The laser printer, transferring a toner image from an image carrier to a sheet-shaped medium S using a transfer roller, is provided with a conveying roller 20 the outer peripheral wall of which, abutting the sheet- shaped medium S, an electrostatic coating film 60 containing alumina powder is formed thereon and conveying the sheet-shaped medium S between the image carrier and the transfer roller by rotating with a peripheral speed faster than that of the image carrier, and a driven roller 22 is also provided abutting the sheet-shaped medium on the opposite side to the conveying roller 20 and rotating in conjunction with the conveying roller 20.
