PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fence for preventing diffusion of polluted water and the like, which can be properly installed even in such a place for installation that there is no large space in a surrounding area, can exert an excellent fence function in a state of extending from a water surface to a sea bottom, and has an excellent buoyancy adjusting function. SOLUTION: This fence is equipped with a pile 1 which is fixed to the sea bottom, a lake bottom, a riverbed or the like so as to be erected approximately perpendicularly, a mooring jig 2 which is loosely fitted into the pile 1, a floating body 4 which is continuously laid between the adjacent mooring jigs 2, and a fence body 5 which is suspended from the floating body 4. The mooring jig 2 is equipped with an expandable/contractible bag body 3 having the buoyancy adjusting function.
