PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase various productivities of ocean ecosystem by noticing nutrient salts to be a key to the rise and decline of phytoplankton to be a primary producer in the ocean ecosystem as an affector to enable the control of the ocean ecosystem and establishing the method of the control of the ocean ecosystem by nutrient salts. SOLUTION: In adding nutrient salts to the ocean ecosystem, the amount of nutrient salts added per time and the period of addition are set by taking the proliferation rate of organisms constituting the ocean ecosystem into consideration.
