BIOGASIFICATION TREATING METHOD FOR ORGANIC WASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the heating cost and equipment cost of a water heat treating equipment. SOLUTION: An organic waste slurry 10 fed by a feed pipe 1a is preheated to 40 to 80 deg.C in a preheater 11, by which its viscosity is lowered and a low- viscosity slurry 13 improved in heat transfer efficiency is thereby obtained. Next, the low-viscosity slurry 13 previously enhanced in its heat transfer efficiency is fed to the water heat treating equipment 3 where the slurry is pressurized and is heated up to a water heat treatment temperature, by which subcritcal water is acted thereon to solubilize the solids. When the solubilization treated liquid 14 of a high temperature is sent through solubilization treated liquid transfer lines 17a and 17b to a digester 5, the treated liquid is passed through a heat exchanger tube 16 of the preheater 11 and is used as a preheating source of the organic waste slurry 10 in the preheater 11 and is thereby cooled down to a required temperature, following which the slurry is subjected to an anaerobic digestion treatment in the digester 5 and biogas 6 is generated therefrom.
