METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION OF PORTABLE DATA STORING DEVICE HAVING PR FUNCTION AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for controlling operation of a portable data storing device having a PR(Public Relations) function and a system for performing the same are provided to maximize PR effect by installing a certification procedure to a CPU of the portable data storing device, and outputting moving image data or voice data for the PR during the certification procedure. CONSTITUTION: A portable storing device interface(110) communicates an interface signal with an information terminal such as a PC and a notebook computer, or an information communication device(10). The CPU(120) controls the communication with the information terminal or the information communication device(10) through the portable storing device interface(110), and outputs the moving image data for the PR stored in a flash memory(130) while a user performs the certification procedure. The flash memory(130) includes a user region(134) for storing general file data and a PR region(132) storing the moving image data or the voice data.
