SUBSTANCE: device has external metal sphere member with a turning element in its internal cavity, polymer insert member having a turning element, ring member for fixing the sphere and insert relative to each other, metal head directly fixed on the prosthesis pedicle. The head member is covered with two metal hemispheres holding it to protect from falling out. Free rotation without wobbling takes place. The hemispheres are fixed in polymer insert partially due to pin available on the hemispheres built-in into the polymer insert, partially due to hemisphere being wedged in the polymer insert when heated in human organism tissues. Cobalt-chromium alloy is used for manufacturing head and hemispheres. Turning elements of the insert and sphere match each other. EFFECT: high reliability of operation. 1 dwg
