PURPOSE: A learning method in shifting up from 2-range to 3-range in an automatic transmission for a vehicle is provided to improving shifting feeling by suppressing occurrence of run-up and promoting stabilization of learning. CONSTITUTION: A learning method in shifting up from 2-range to 3-range in an automatic transmission for a vehicle comprises steps of deciding whether exhausting efficiency of an intake system is over the reference value(S110) if 2-range to 3-range up shift is decided(S100); outputting new duty-learning volume and fill time-learning volume according to the three learning volume-deciding conditions followed by control time in a range where mechanical shifting starts from fill time finish and followed by difference between real turbine rpm(revolutions per minute) and desired turbine rpm(S130,S140); and outputting control duty of the range, with the output value, and returning(S150,S160). Thus, shifting feeling is improved.
