PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for oral cavity in which an absorbing ability of cetylpyridinium chloride to teeth is enhanced and to provide a method for enhancing the absorbing ability to teeth which cetylpyridinium chloride has. SOLUTION: This composition for oral cavity comprises cetylpyridinium chloride and polyvinyl alcohol. This method for enhancing an absorbing ability to teeth which cetylpyridinium chloride has comprises using the cetylpyridinium chloride and the polyvinyl alcohol in combination.
