PROTECTIVE CAP FOR FLUID OUTLET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent complete closing of a cover plate 14 when a protective cap 2 is not properly attached to connecting ports 11 and 12 of a fluid outlet 1 in regard to the protective cap 2 for the fluid outlet comprising a pair of cap parts 21 and 22 detachably attached to the fluid outlet 1 with a pair of the connecting ports 11 and 12 for passage connection closed so they can be opened by the turning type cover plate 14, protecting the connection ports 11 and 12 during nonuse and respectively attached to the connection ports 11 and 12 in watertight states, and a connecting member 20 integrally protruding the cap parts from a front face in a parallel state. SOLUTION: A position of an inner face 14a of the cover plate 14 in a completely closed state is set so as to match with a position of a back face of the connecting member 20 in a state with the cap parts 21 and 22 respectively attached to the connection ports 11 and 12 in the watertight states.
